Employee absence
The latest report by EEF found that “found that 11% of organisations thought that the fit note was less helpful than the previous sick-note system.” It did however find that running a staff health and wellbeing programme reduced absence levels. Keeping “well employees well” was also a key theme with a rise to 51% of staff not having a day off sick in 2011. Staff health and wellbeing
Great final day at the Safety & Health Expo at the NEC. Thanks to Philips who presented their staff health and wellbeing programme as Let’s Get Healthy case study.
Great debate with H&S and Occupational Health professionals on the recent British Crime Survey ” 5.9% of the working population stated they regularly use illegal drugs” That’s 29 staff in every team of 500
